Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a home in .
A man was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines via the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: "It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be dangerous.
"These kinds of products being sold, typically online, have actually undergone no quality assurance and there can be no guarantee about their security.
"You simply do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More notably, you do not understand the impact drugs like this may have on your health."
